Vocational Pathway
The Vocational Pathway (VP) is for our young people with a range of moderate learning difficulties, disabilities and support needs who are developing the skills and knowledge they need to prepare them for their next steps into adult life – be that paid or voluntary work, further education or training, independent or supported living or social care/community programmes.
The goal for the Pathway is to prepare each young person for their next step into life beyond Newfriars College and into adulthood. Each young person completes a personalised, varied curriculum offer which is built around the skills, knowledge and experiences each individual young person needs for their future goals and aspirations, that are transferable into adulthood.
