Work Experience and Partner Organisations

We offer a diverse range of work experience opportunities both onsite and within the local community. These opportunities are designed to help our learners gain valuable hands-on experience and develop essential work skills.

We collaborate closely with a variety of employers and stakeholders to create tailored experiences that support our learners’ personal and professional growth throughout their time at college. By engaging with real-world work environments, students are equipped with the practical knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in their future careers. Our commitment to fostering strong partnerships ensures that every learner receives the guidance and resources they need to thrive in the workplace.

Our aim is that employers will become more disability confident and value the skills and qualities that young people with SEND can bring in the workplace.

Newfriars college work so hard to give young people with disabilities the best opportunities in life. They provide young people with opportunities to access to the local community, develop work experience skills and help to transition those that can into paid employment.
